In my humble opinion, I think that 45 minutes is not a long enough lunch break. Firstly, one should address the situation that in the lunch break one needs a time to take a lunch. As one cannot eat a lunch sharply at given specific time. For instance, a lunch break starts from 11. Nobody, would start taking his lunch sharply at 11. It is simply because in a break one needs to freshen up himself which requires a time to do it. Apart from this, the main motive of a break is to give a rest to the body and mind. A break is essential for the body and mind to work effectively and efficiently. In a lunch break, one cannot finish his lunch in 15 minutes. Surely, he can finish it in 30 minutes but what about the other bodily requirements to freshen up the body. It’s not just about finishing the meal, but it’s more about finishing the lunch without any rush.
